Erdogan also said that Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey will coordinate their steps to protect the rights of Crimean Tatars in Crimea.
He noted that during the meeting with President of Ukraine discussed the issue and both sides have common views on the issue. "We need to keep in the international agenda the issue of violation of rights of the Crimean Tatars, who are on the territory of the Crimea", — said the Turkish leader.
In turn, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has delivered a speech for Turkey's involvement in international formats of the negotiation process on the Crimean issue, including to the format of Geneva (Ukraine, Russia, USA and EU). "Mr President (of Turkey) supported the joint steps aimed at de-occupation of Crimea. For this plan to work together in the framework of international organizations on the basis of new international formats," said Poroshenko.
