I will not say that NATO should be close tomorrow, but organizations need serious reform," - said the politician.

He questioned the advisability of sending allied forces in the Baltic States to strengthen their defence.

"We try "on the cheap" to solve the problem of a possible war between Russia and Latvia, Russia and NATO. But I don't want to live in war and therefore want to develop diplomacy that the war was not," said the turnip.
