We, "GEFCO Baltic" has already been completed in cooperation with the company "Transkonteiner", the Latvian railway and the port of Riga has sent two container train to China. Currently there is no technical problems for the continuation of the already started. Of course, there are points that should be smooth to the train as soon as possible traveled to China, because cargo is often important every hour.

To transit from China to Europe, mainly to Scandinavia, became a regular, necessary, a sufficiently large flow of goods in both directions. Preferably the presence of several owners of the so-called "anchor" of goods. It should be recognized that the Latvian infrastructure is ready to receive, process and send trains in both directions — both in China and out of it. Logistics never goes ahead of the cargo. However, I believe that we, as a major logistics company, a lot of arguments to convince cargo owners to the possibilities and advantages of the Riga corridor. We are ready to arrange customs procedures, and to organize the handling of cargo, and perform the change of locomotives, and provide other services on the whole route of the train until the final destination.

But China is not the only partner for the future. Now we have successfully cooperated with Central Asian States, for example, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. We should not forget about Iran is a promising market in the field of view "GEFCO". However, time will tell whether enough goods to lead them through the Baltic States and Latvia.
