A festive concert marathon traditionally kicks off on may 8, when the end of world war II is officially celebrated in most countries of Europe.

Starting at 17.00 in front of the audience performing artists vocal Studio Helena Svelpe, ensemble "Balabushki-groom", the orchestra "Sadko", a folk ensemble "willow". Will complete the first day of the feast with Alexander Kazakov Da Ba group and Anna bard with a group of IGNIS .

9-on may, Monday, the festivities will start at 10 a.m. with laying flowers to the monument to the Liberators, which was headed by the veterans and the mayor of Riga nil Ushakov.

Their best songs will be performed by winners of festival "Baltic talents" ensembles vocal Studio "Chime", the artists vocal Studio Helena Svelpe, group Kugliev Family Band, singer Anna with the rock band IGNIS and Alexander Kazakov from the group Da Ba.

A special program for the celebration of Victory Day in Riga was prepared and the guests — participants of the festival STANISLAVSKY.LV — graduate students and the artists of the Russian University of theatre arts (GITIS), Studio of Mikhail Borisov, the Studio of people's artist of Russia Leonid Heifetz and Vladimir Andreyev's workshop.
