"Athletes who go to the Olympics, and we know who they will be in the form of white, red and blue flowers. And in any case, we know that they will represent Russia. So they should go" — quoted Dvorkovich TASS.

As previously reported, on December 5, the IOC Executive Board suspended the national team of Russia from participation in the Olympics in 2018. Athletes who can prove that did not use doping, will compete in Pyeongchang under a neutral flag, if Russia does not decide to boycott the Olympics.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov said that the Russians never will be to compete at the Olympics under their flag.

In the next few days its position on the participation of Russian athletes in the Games will be announced by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Previously, he said that the ban on the national team's participation in Games and / or the requirement for athletes to compete under another flag is a "humiliation for the country".

Olympic games 2018 in Pyeongchang will be held from 9 to 25 February.
