The right to vote at the Congress had 96 delegates and 84 of them voted for the Indrikson. His opponent was former press Secretary LFF Krisjanis Klavins, whose name has repeatedly surfaced rumors about his involvement in match-fixing, but in the end nothing has been proven.
Guntis Indriksons LFF heads for the past 20 years and will now occupy this position for another four years.
After receiving support from a majority of delegates of Congress, Indriksons confirmed that the responsibilities of the Secretary-General LFF and will continue to be Janis Mezeckis. Vice-presidents LF approved Maris Verpakovskis and Georges Timers.
Also note the choice of the new head of the Judicial Committee, which will now Vadim Direktorenko. In the dispute over the position, he walked around the Ivar Kazaks Ginta and the PEC.
