According to Khodorkovsky, who left Russia after his release from prison in December 2013, less than 10 years, the political system existing in Russia, has run its course.

"The situation is very unstable, because the surrounding of Putin begins to think about what will remain after Putin," says Khodorkovsky.

In addition, he stated that representatives of Russian authorities are waiting for trial because they "did a lot of bad things".

"We will have problems with people who have committed crimes, since thousands of them. Judge all fail. We would offer them the opportunity to sign the act of Amnesty with conditions that violate their right to hold public office and requiring them to return all property," he said.

Khodorkovsky also stated that he is working to ensure that mistakes made in the early 90's, not repeated in the future.

Earlier the Moscow city court upheld the decision on the arrest in absentia of former Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky. He is accused of ordering the murder of the mayor of Nefteyugansk in 1998. Basmanny court sanctioned the arrest of former head of Yukos. Khodorkovsky himself is in the UK.
