According to him, in the world there is broad international consensus on this issue.

"The existence of a strong and prosperous Russia, which recognizes the rule of law that respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its neighbors and which has made a positive contribution to world Affairs, in the interests of the entire world," Malinowski said, noting that at present "Russia plays no such role in all spheres".

The assistant Secretary also stressed that Washington never conducted anti-Russian policy. According to him, the USA are interested in that the Russian Federation was a strong and democratic country.

Malinowski added that Moscow and Washington could work together "for the sake of global security and prosperity".
