This problem drew the attention of the economist-geographer Janis turlais. He came to the conclusion that in Latvia there are about 30 schools in the last academic year, the exam is not handed over half of the graduates.
According to the Ministry of education and science, in General, in the 12 th grade secondary schools in the last year studied 12 578 students, and mandatory centralized examination in the Latvian language was taking just 11 095.
We also found out that in Latvia there are schools where exam passes only every ninth student. So, in the private high school of business and management, where in the 12th class graduated nine students, the exam is passed only one.
